I found a solution that I've got working at this website: http://tacticalcoder.com/blog/2009/05/using-synergy-software-kvm-with-osx-and-linux/

Seems to be working well!
Good luck

I've looked for such a solution as well, but I've never found anything that worked. I found many posts talking about adding commands to various gnome init scripts, but none of them worked.

I understand your need to have such a solution as I too would like to have it. Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you.

I'd like to be able to have the synergyc client start up at boot, not login. Have followed all the instructions I can find, they all refer to auto start up at login. That always means I have to use the keyboard attached to that computer to login, then the synergyc client starts working.
Is it possible to get it to work so I don't have to use that other keyboard for logging in?
Am I missing something?
Thanks,
GCG.

that's pretty friggin awesome. If I had a place to set up my lappy next to my desktop, I'd totally check that out. Either way, its definitely something for the future.
