The last Flash game that I posted about was all about logic. This one is all about silly, pointless fun.
Try your best to maximize the distance, height, and style points as you ramp your cart into the air. Upgrade your cart to improve it’s ability to roll, attach rocket boosters, add groupies, and unlock tricks to build up the greatest amount of points possible.
Can you get a cart full of groupies in space?
I’m not exactly a racing fan, but I have enjoyed watching races now and again. Out of all the motorsports, I find Formula Racing the most interesting. Thus, I was very interested when I saw this video.
New rules are going into effect for Formula 1 starting this year with changes that will continue through 2011. Red Bull Racing put together this video to highlight the changes that they are making to their vehicles to comply with these new regulations.
Even if you aren’t a racing fan, I suggest that you watch the video. The special effects are incredible.
For years, I’ve received emails that have capital ‘J’s thrown in at the end of seemingly random sentences. It’s never been a big deal, but it has always baffled me.
For example, I just received an email that contained the following bit:

I often enjoy simple games more than complex games. Grid is the latest time killer that I’ve found and became quickly addicted to.
Grid is a spin off of the old style circuit games where you have to get all the pieces connected in just the right order to form a circuit. The exception is that Grid requires you to connect every connector to some other connector. Each “grid” only has one solution, so you have to get it just right in order to move on to the next level.
A while back, I posted about how I wanted to find an alternative to DNS Stuff. Since then, I haven’t found much to get excited about. In addition, I continue to get search traffic where people use terms like “free dnsstuff”, “dnsstuff alternative”, or “dnsstuff coupon code”. So, it seems that I’m not the only one that wants a real alternative to DNS Stuff.

After working on a new theme off and on for over a month, I’ve finally settled on a look and decided to update the site.
My old theme was a slight modification of the fSpring theme by Fredrik Fahlstad. I still think that it’s a very nice design, but I decided that it was time for a change.
I’ve been running Woopra stats on this site since August 1, 2008. I got into the beta program really early since I was at WordCamp Dallas, where some of the initial beta codes were given out. I also had the pleasure of meeting John Pozadzides who is the founder of Woopra.
Since I’ve been using Woopra for half a year now, I’d like to give a review of what I like and dislike about it.
For those of you who don’t know anything about Woopra, here’s a bit of info. Woopra is a very new site statistics and visitor analytics tools. It is so new in fact, that it is still very much in beta.
Woopra aims to revolutionize the way we think of stats in relation to our site. Rather than being purely a historical tool, as most of the other stat gathering tools are, Woopra provides the ability to see what is happening on your site in real time. There is a Live tab that will show you visitors that are active on your site, where each visitor is located in the world, how each visitor got to the site, what pages they’ve navigated to, any external links they’ve clicked on, and even gives you the ability to open up a live chat with an individual visitor.
I stumbled on a great game the other day called Eversion. At first this game seems to be a simple, cutesy platformer, but it holds a great twist that starts simple and gets weirder and weirder.
I really don’t want to give anything away, so I just recommend that you give it a try. A bit of advice should be helpful though, the spacebar does something, but only in certain locations.
I wish you the best of luck as Eversion is not an easy platformer.

I got an emergency call from a friend yesterday. His computer was totally eaten up by viruses and couldn’t function anymore. He’s a writer and doesn’t do backups, so he was naturally very afraid that he would lose the book drafts that he’s been working on.
I brought him and his ailing computer over to my place to give it some TLC and get it back in fighting condition. This system, Raine, is special to me as it was the second computer I built. That was way back in 2002, and when I cracked the case, horror itself greeted me. I could see that I had a long night ahead of me.
Samus, my main machine, was having some issues earlier today, so I opened her up and felt around. I touched the graphics card and was nearly burned. I loaded up a temperature tracking program and found that it was running at 93°C. That’s nearly 200 degrees Farenheit. I was amazed that the GPU hadn’t been damaged by this heat.
